From free medical camps to early detection and awareness programs, we are committed to creating a healthier future for all
To address the overwhelming need and gap for non-communicable disease care in Tanzania through awareness, early detection, treatment, and partnerships.
To create a productive community with good health, free from the burden of non-communicable diseases.”
Our objectives focus on promoting NCD awareness, early detection, collaborative partnerships, research, and establishing treatment centers across Tanzania.
Established in 2023, our organization was founded by a group of experienced doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory scientists, all united by a common goal: to improve the health and well-being of communities affected by NCDs.
With a focus on the Lake Zone regions and beyond, we work tirelessly to provide comprehensive care and support to those at risk of or living with conditions such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and chronic respiratory diseases.
We understand that NCDs represent the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and we believe that prevention, early detection, and effective management are critical to changing this narrative.
Our programs are designed to provide holistic care, raise awareness, and empower communities to take charge of their health. We strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by NCDs.
We organize regular free medical camps in underserved areas, offering essential services like health screenings, consultations, and medications.
Our upcoming health center will serve as a hub for comprehensive medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
We are committed to innovative research and data gathering to better understand the causes and management of NCDs.
Our programs are designed to provide holistic care, raise awareness, and empower communities to take charge of their health. We strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by NCDs.
Cancer is a leading cause of chronic disease-related deaths globally, with around 10 million fatalities annually. Many cancers are preventable through lifestyle changes, early detection, and access to timely treatments, which we advocate for in our community.
Cardiovascular diseases, including heart attacks and strokes, account for nearly 18 million deaths yearly, making them the leading cause of mortality. Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and regular screenings can significantly reduce the burden of CVD.
Chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma and COPD, are often under-recognized and under-treated. We aim to educate communities on the importance of lung health, early diagnosis, and effective management strategies to improve quality of life.
Diabetes affects approximately 537 million people worldwide, leading to serious health complications and premature death. Awareness of prevention, regular monitoring, and access to necessary treatments like insulin are crucial in managing this growing health challenge.
Mental health significantly impacts overall well-being, influenced by social, environmental, and biological factors. We promote mental health awareness, encouraging open dialogue and providing resources to support those struggling with mental health challenges.
Our efforts are driven by the goal of making a measurable difference in the fight against Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Here are some key statistics that reflect our impact:
Reached through our Free Medical Camps in remote areas
Health screenings conducted, with early detection of 300+ NCD cases
Community members educated through our Awareness Programs
The voices of our beneficiaries are at the heart of our mission. Their stories reflect the impact of our programs and the transformative change we aim to achieve in the communities we serve.
Thanks to CBHO, I was able to get a free diabetes screening that saved my life. The doctors were incredibly kind and professional.
I never knew I had high blood pressure until CBHO came to our village. Now I’m receiving the treatment I need.
I thought I would never receive quality healthcare, but CBHO proved me wrong. Their services have given me hope
